Designated by the Ministry of Advanced Education Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of British Columbia, the Capital College Caregiver Program is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary for caregiving roles. The curriculum covers a wide range of essential topics to ensure students are well-prepared to support individuals of all ages, including young children, adults, and the elderly, in both institutional and community settings.
Beyond professional training, Capital College’s Caregiver Program also serves as a structured pathway for skilled and compassionate caregivers to work and live in Canada while addressing the growing demand for essential care services.
Under this program, caregivers receive the necessary work authorization to support children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities in various settings, including private homes and care facilities. By simplifying the application process, this initiative not only benefits caregivers looking to establish a career in Canada but also provides peace of mind to Canadian families in need of dedicated and professional care services. It reflects Canada’s commitment to recognizing the invaluable contributions of caregivers while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
At the end of this program, graduates of Capital College will have developed the essential knowledge and understanding required to provide high-quality care. With these new improvements, Capital College’s Caregiver Program ensures that individuals can achieve their professional and personal goals while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. This pathway offers a unique opportunity for caregivers to build a stable future in Canada while contributing to the well-being of communities across the country.
